Trial 2: When going up a slope, which combination of person and wheelchair is most likely to tip backwards?

Animation of person in wheelchair going up hill, amputee in wheelchair with back wheel set forward tips backward

In this test the placement of the back wheel and the person are important. The size of the front wheels has little effect on whether the wheelchair will tip backward. Either of the wheelchairs with the back wheel placed in the forward position is more likely to tip backwards because the center of balance is forward. The amputee is more likely to tip backwards because the weight distribution is further back.
